Portable x-ray flaw detector

Portable X-ray flaw detector is specially designed for shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical industry, machinery, aerospace, transportation and construction, etc. It is used to check the processing and welding quality of materials and parts such as hull, pipeline, high-pressure vessel, boiler, airplane, vehicle and bridge, as well as the quality of various processed parts such as light metal, rubber and ceramics. By means of X-ray photography, the internal defects of materials and welded parts are displayed on X-ray film to evaluate the product quality.

Portable X-ray flaw detector adopts SF6 gas insulation, which is small in size and light in weight. Especially, frequency conversion can represent the development direction of X-ray flaw detector better than power frequency X-ray flaw detector. The machine consists of console, X-ray generator and low-voltage connecting cable.

Portable flaw detectors can be divided into directional radiation and circumferential radiation. Directional radiation is fixed, and the cone angle of radiation beam is generally in the range of 40 ~ 45. The circumferential radiation beam radiates X-rays at the same time on the 360 circumference perpendicular to the axis of the X-ray tube. For detecting the annular weld of large-diameter pipe fittings and spherical containers, the whole weld can be photographed by one exposure, which greatly improves the detection efficiency.

Portable flaw detector includes glass shell X-ray tube and corrugated ceramic X-ray tube;

Glass-shell X-ray tube is widely used at home and abroad because of its relatively simple manufacture and low cost. At present, the frequency conversion gas-insulated portable X-ray machine mostly adopts corrugated ceramic X-ray tubes, which have the characteristics of long service life.
