Cholangiography examination process

(1) Do a good job of explanation, so that patients can relieve their worries and actively cooperate. (2) Ask the medical history carefully to find out whether the patient has any contraindications to cholangiography. (3) Use medical contrast agent to make it enter the biliary tract through certain methods and ways, so that the outline and pathological image of the cholangiography site can be clearly displayed on the X-ray film. Intravenous cholecystography and cholangiography are both intravenous contrast agents, which are not affected by gastrointestinal absorption and can get results quickly. Venography usually clearly shows the common bile duct and the common hepatic duct 30-40 minutes after drug injection, and then gradually becomes unclear.
