What is the prototype of Pandora?
Zhangjiajie Forest Park in Hunan Province has more than 3,000 peaks, just like a beautiful stone forest. In 2008, Hollywood photographers took a lot of photos here as prototypes of various elements of Pandora in the sci-fi blockbuster Avatar. The flying dragon in the picture above is the sacred mount "Phantom of the Opera" in the movie.
300 million years ago, erosion carved this wonderful highland. The 220-square-kilometer park is towering with ancient trees and vines, and the forest coverage rate reaches 90%. There are many extremely precious and unique plant species in it, which are known as the most beautiful hanging gardens and fairyland in the world.
