What are the key points of photography?

Focus on the subject

There are various focusing methods depending on the subject.

When the subject is not in the center of the frame

Place the subject in the center of the frame, lock the focus on the subject, and then recompose the shot.

The subject moves quickly

Focus the camera on a point at the same distance as the subject you want to photograph (by pressing the shutter button halfway), then recompose and wait for the subject Get into the frame.

Difficult to focus on subjects

In some situations, it is difficult to focus using auto focus. A green light lights up on the LCD, allowing you to check whether focus is locked.

The green light flashes.

The factors that may cause image blur are:

(1) When shooting images using optical zoom, digital zoom or higher magnification zoom function

(2 ) When shooting dark subjects at a low shutter speed

(3) When the flash cannot be used or a low shutter speed setting shooting mode is selected

When shooting images without using the flash

The flash fires automatically in situations where light is insufficient or the image may be blurry. If the subject is too far away, the flash may not be effective. Here's how to capture images without a flash in this situation.

The image is too rough

Several factors can cause the image to be rough.

Use digital zoom to capture close-up images

Use digital zoom to crop and enlarge part of an image. The higher the magnification, the rougher the image.

When shooting images using the above preset scenes, the noise reduction function will be automatically turned on to capture dark objects clearly. If noise reduction is not turned on, the image will be rough.

Photographing a white beach or snowy scene

Bright subjects, such as snow, often appear darker than their original color. Adjust [Exposure Compensation] toward [+] to bring these subjects closer to their true brightness. Conversely, when shooting darker subjects, adjusting toward [–] may be effective. Sometimes, using flash may not achieve the desired brightness (exposure).
