Detailed data collection of Guilin local chronicles

The Story of Guilin written by Mo Xiufu in Tang Dynasty is the earliest extant monograph on the geography and customs of Guilin. This book records the scenic spots and historical sites, mountains and rivers, and anecdotes of celebrities in Guilin, and records many Tang Dynasty officials who worked in Guilin, including the only record of the transfer of local political power in Guilin during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was once included in Siku Quanshu. There were three volumes in the original book, but now there is only one volume with 42 entries, totaling 15000 words. The author recorded his trip with poems and elegant words.
