Chen Nengcheng, male, born in 1974, doctor of Wuhan University (Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing), postdoctoral fellow of George Mei Sen University (Satellite Sensor Network), professor, doctoral supervisor, winner of excellent doctoral thesis in Hubei Province, member of innovation group of Hubei Natural Science Foundation, and J2EE system architect. 1997, in 2000 and 2003, he obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering (majoring in geodesy), a master's degree in cartography and geographic information system from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping, and a doctorate in photogrammetry and remote sensing from Wuhan University; He stayed on as a teacher in 2000, and was promoted to associate professor in 2004 and professor in 2008.

He presided over the completion of more than national, provincial and ministerial projects 10, and participated in the completion of NASA sensor network and OWS-5/6 projects. The research results won the R&: D Top 100 International R&D Innovation Award in 2008, the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2005, the Science and Technology Progress Award in Hubei Province in 2004, the Excellent Doctoral Thesis Award in Hubei Province in 2004, the Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award in 2003, and published more than one monograph 1 department, and published academic papers.

At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of earth observation sensor network, network geographic information system and service, smart city, digital South Pole and so on. The research projects include National 973 Project (project leader), General Projects of National Natural Science Foundation, Innovative Groups Project of National Natural Science Foundation, National 863 Project, etc.

Main academic part-time: member of expert group of SCAR-AGI (Geographic Information Working Group of International Antarctic Scientific Investigation Committee), member of International Chinese Geographic Information Science Association (CPGIS), chairman of the international conference of CPGIS YYSW20 10, and peer review of international journals such as IJGIS, CJRS, IEEE JSTAR, IJDE, IEEE TGARS, China Scientific Chinese Journal, Wuhan University, Information Science Edition and Polar Research.
