What is time-lapse photography?

Simply put, it is to shoot a picture (a frame) every once in a while, and then play it at normal speed, showing a special effect, similar to the fast action effect that is very common in movies and TV. For example, shoot a frame every 1 second, and then play it normally, so that what you shot for 25 minutes can be played in 1 minute.
