Photographic works in Pakistan

A leaf boat, swimming in rivers;

At a glance, insight into the world.

The mountains and rivers are boundless, the sky is high and the clouds are light, and there are no clouds in Wan Li.

The world is accompanied by cold and warm.

This is how I felt when I first saw Lao Pan's photography portfolio.

When it comes to reading, I have no choice but to read a few books recently. Two or three books have been partially read and put on the way. Because it is the work of visual design, atlas books usually pay more attention, so let's comment on this photo album that we like recently.

Let's talk about the author first Lao Pan is 70 years old and graduated from Beijing Film Academy. He is a screenwriter and director by profession. He wants to know more about the author when he opens Baidu. There is no more relevant information except Paradise Time Travel Bookstore.

This aroused my curiosity!

So, open the search engine and enter "Paradise Time Travel Bookstore". The search page shows a lot of information. Obviously, Lao Pan is a low-key and pragmatic person who has a deep foundation in art and art education. He is a photographer who didn't pass the professional study. His bookstore was once rated as the most beautiful bookstore in China, and now it has become a chain Tibetan bookstore with a certain scale, selling books covering tourism, photography, literature, art and so on. Among them, books about Tibetan culture account for a large proportion, attracting countless travelers and followers to come for leisure and reading. He once volunteered to teach in hard high-altitude Tibetan areas to help children in poor primary schools in mountainous areas realize their dream of learning.

Pursuing inner thoughts protects freedom and peace, and so does his works.

The author made a pilgrimage to the plateau and traveled all over the Buddhist country, and pursued his spiritual home with cameras all the way. He chose to build a spiritual habitat on the vast plateau. What is the energy source planted in his heart? The answer can only be found through every frame of his work.

A set of three works, "A Bodhi Leaf", "A Warm Life" and "An Encounter", the photo album of 15x 15cm is simple and compact, which is very suitable for wandering around casually. I also take it with me, take time to browse and hold it beautifully.

These photos took nine years. It records the life and practice of young monks in different Buddhist countries such as Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Tibet, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. Their simple practices, clear happiness, make people happy and touching.

What these photos have in common is that they record different people, vivid people and warm smiling faces. Most of these people come from the bottom of society, living in poverty and lacking in material resources. Children play in mud pits in slums and roll around in garbage dumps. However, they already know how to find pleasure in suffering, and they can use strong optimism and strength to make their lives look less bad.

From them, I can always feel a powerful force, an instinct for survival and kindness. Strive for food and clothing, and be spiritually happy and rich. These beautiful moments they created reach people's hearts.

The works in the album are small and big, and the silhouette of the characters and the sketch of the scene are very story-telling, with delicate angles and meaningful composition. Sometimes I write down a few paragraphs of spiritual feelings in the format to explain the meaning of the work skillfully, which complements the picture.

One: one bodhi, spreading faith, willing to practice.

Turn to the third page of A Leaf of Bodhi. Behind the monk dressed in dark red cassock, a young monk and a nun turn around. His tender face is shining in the sun, and his eyes are full of doubts and pursuits. Like a drop of dew on the clock of a stupa, it is silent and colorless in an instant, but it can moisten a few seeds when it seeps into the soil. ...

Good thoughts have an influential power, and practice self-cultivation and self-cultivation.

This volume "One Leaf Bodhi" focuses on young monks who practice, expressing the joy and sadness of practice. A smile, a flower and a bodhi are behind. Your questions are all answered with your heart, word by word, intentionally or unintentionally. There is a profound philosophy in Zen and you have recited it for a long time.

Two: I have been warm all my life, loving and being loved, and I have never left.

"Warm Life" turned to page 82 and was attracted by a group of waving children. The author made detailed notes: it recorded a farewell, leaving Qiumu Township Primary School in Shigatse on 20 12 to bid farewell to the children who taught in poor primary schools. In the bright sunshine on the plateau, a group of Tibetan children were smiling and grinning and shouting goodbye. The reluctance and warmth in their eyes are endless, and you seem to feel the nervous smile outside the painting.

Happiness is rooted in the heart, and the external environment is only the difference between prosperity and adversity.

The author of "A Warm Life" makes good use of the lens to capture the children's crystal eyes and the bright smile like the sun on the plateau, making the happy smile a symbol of warmth and giving each smile a blessing, which is eternal warmth; Rely on the pairs of creatures on the plateau, express loyal and eternal love, and let the love of all beings in the world reflect the warm light.

Three: an encounter, an encounter with the world, beautiful enough.

At the end of a chance encounter, stop at 1 1 1 page. On the messy ground, there is a little girl squatting. She stretched out her little hand and begged from passers-by. This is a daily scene in the streets of Bahar. The girl is five or six years old, and her big eyes are shining with pleading eyes. The turbulent society made her children lose their due glory and forced them.

The suffering at this time, the beauty at that time, your shoulders will have unique happiness.

"An Encounter" allows you to see all kinds of people in the world through the dust in the morning light, experience touching pain and meet clean and flawless love. Although they have different skin colors, different regions and different cultures, their experience of the situation is absolutely the same, but they all work hard for life, and their spirit is happy and rich, inspiring people who resonate with them to keep moving forward.

With awe, the author records the beauty, tells the story behind the picture in a visual way, and shows the world from a moving perspective.

Thanks to Lao Pan for letting me feel the light of Bodhi and meet happiness and warmth. With those insignificant, to show those trickling songs of life, cycle after cycle, enduring.
