How to create this aged effect in Photoshop?

Is it similar to this effect? If so, I can simply tell you how to do it.

Open the photo in photoshop, first copy the layer, and operate in the copy background layer. Click the "Filter" - "Texture" - "Grain" command, set the "Strength" to 12, the "Contrast" to 13, the "Grain Type" to Vertical, click the "OK" button, and then use the Hue/Saturation Command to colorize the image and find that retro color. Finally, click on the "Faded Photo" option in the style control panel and the image will appear.
