The "2009" in the logo indicates that the college was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2009, and also shows the geographical environment of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau where the college is located. Incorporating the word "pen" not only shows the spirit of the times of the college in pioneering, cultivating innovative talents and bravely climbing the scientific peak, but also shows that the predecessor of the college originated from 18 13 Bijiashan Academy named after Bijiashan. It shows the university spirit of inheriting tradition, pioneering and innovating, carrying forward hard work, self-discipline, devoting to education and serving the motherland.

The school emblem as a whole consists of a variant of a mountain peak. The upper part is a cascade of mountains, and the lower part is endless rivers and winding mountain roads. The ravines are vertical and horizontal, towering into the sky, showing that the college is surrounded by peaks in the plateau karst area. At the same time, it also reflects two outstanding scenic spots in Xingyi City, where the college is located, namely Malinghe Canyon and Wan Fenglin.

Interpretation: The lower left is the variant of the word "Mao". Combining up and down, it looks like the word "pen" and stands against the mountain, "Bijia Mountain"

The sign on the left is blue, which symbolizes wisdom. It is the sea and blue sky, quiet and deep, representing the vastness of learning the sea and the minds of teachers and students. On the right is red, symbolizing celebration, prosperity, development and loyalty. Is the representative color of the revolution, China * * * production party and People's Republic of China (PRC), symbolizing the great historical mission of the school to train builders and successors of the socialist cause.
