On one occasion, when Guo visited Dalian and visited his son's work unit, the leader specially took Guo to his son's studio, but did not say a word to his father. According to the data, Guo Hefu once worked in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as vice president and doctoral supervisor. Prior to this, their son Guo Ang had moved to Japan. The elderly Mrs. Guo had to take her son to live in Japan, and Guo Ang also married a Japanese female doctor. The wives of the three generations of the Guo family are all Japanese women, which is probably what Guo Moruo did not expect. They have lived at home for nearly half a century and have been empty since then.

This building is always quiet. When I came to Dalian for the first time and passed Gorky Road, Xu Dao told us that it was not like some buildings were ruined and withered because they were uninhabited, or became a place to buy waste products. Xu Dao showed it to us while introducing it, but what he saw was clean, neat, quiet and extraordinary, which was the unique temperament that the owner and the building had precipitated together in the long river of years.

People will naturally think of Guo Moruo when they see it. No matter what people in academic circles say about him, one of his sons was shot in the Cultural Revolution, but the son born to a Japanese wife did not associate with him. As a father, his heart must be bleak.

After passing Gorky Road by tour bus, you can also see the buttonwood tree in front of the small building. Almost every buttonwood tree needs two people to hug. The tour guide said that these buttonwood trees are all around 100 years old. It's mid-May, and the lush phoenix tree leaves on both sides of the road meet in the middle of the road, and the branches and leaves are staggered, covering a road of several thousand meters. The blue sky and the vast sea make people miss Dalian infinitely. At the seaside of Dalian, I picked up 47 colored river pebbles as souvenirs of my 47th birthday. We took off our shoes and socks, rolled up our trouser legs and walked on the beach by the sea, letting the waves lick our feet. At the seaside of Dalian, colorful stones are grotesque and washed smooth and shiny by the waves. The natural textures of many colored stones are combined with the strokes of Chinese characters, such as "feng", "shou", "nian" and "da". Tourists find this one, blessed by the stone, precious by the stone, auspicious and memorable. The tour guide told us that a middle-aged couple found a colorful stone in the waves last year. All the colored stones reflect the temperament of Dalian sea water: clean, clear, blue and inclusive ... I am still serious. The heavy colored stones of the river eggs are wrapped in coated paper and put in a tourist bag. Even if they go up and down, they won't leave home. This is also my best memory of the sea and Dalian.

The late writer San Mao often mentioned the situation of gold panning by the sea in his works. Sanmao went to the seaside to pick up a basket of pleasing-looking stones and went home to mend paint and thread. One dumb stone after another suddenly looks vivid, laughing or crying, or sitting vividly, some silly, some quiet and ridiculous, some mischievous ... After completing these works of art, Sanmao was initially in high spirits, and relatives and friends were also proud of getting Sanmao's "works" or reaching out for them. But one day Sanmao found that all the pebbles with aura had become idiots, so she put the stones she found back into the sea.

Now I understand the story of "San Mao picks up stones". Just after I wet the pebbles I picked up with a basin of clear water, I found that these colorful stones were not as beautiful and vivid as when I picked them up. I think Sanmao should have found out that every stone is a child of the sea before putting it back into the sea. When a child leaves his mother and a stone leaves the sea, his expression will become dull and lifeless. Only when they return to the sea again, year after year, day after day to accept the long baptism of the sea, can they really finish their life journey. Compared with Sanmao, I put river pebbles in my bag and brought them to this water-deficient world. It seems that I did something wrong. I can only say sorry in my heart. I wonder if the sea has heard of it? !
