At least Canon and Nikon SLR cameras can take photos with shallow depth of field in P file, because in P file, you can use program offset (Canon, Nikon is called elastic program) to shoot large aperture, use large aperture, add long focal length lens, and control the shooting distance to shoot photos with shallow depth of field.
