Skills of humanistic photography Three skills of humanistic photography

1, shooting mode setting

(1) Shooting mode: When shooting outdoors during the day, due to the great difference between light and shade in different environments, aperture priority mode is usually adopted (news photographers may choose automatic exposure mode), which is convenient for controlling the depth of field. The indoor environment is usually even in light, so you can shoot in M mode and only focus on composition shooting.

(2) Focus mode: set to single focus, and manually move the focus with the composition. Unless it is tracking moving vehicles, people or animals, I don't set the continuous tracking and focusing function to on, which means that the focus movement will change with the movement of the lens when composing, but it will increase the trouble of confirming the focusing effect of the picture.

2. Capture the moment.

Capturing and communicating are the main ways of humanistic photography, and both have their own advantages. For street shooting, many scenes are fleeting. At this time, it is often necessary to take a snapshot, and if necessary, get the consent of the subject afterwards. For longer-term and deeper theme shooting, it is almost necessary to communicate in advance. This is an effect that can't be achieved anyway before communication. But no matter which way you choose, you should remember to respect the subject psychologically and in action.

3. continuous shooting model.

The wonderful work of portrait photography is often the natural and vivid expression of the subject. It is a good choice to capture such moments with continuous shooting. Continuous shooting means that your attention will stay on the camera for a while, so look around before shooting to avoid accidents. During the shooting process, try to change the shooting posture and angle, take a few pictures while standing, and then take a few more pictures while crouching. Don't be attracted by the wonderful picture in front of you and forget to change the composition. Maybe a better picture will be taken from another angle.
