There is a "wooden house village" hidden in Fusong, Baishan Mountain, with continuous weeping scenery. Go here to return to nature.

This winter, my wise brother Xu Bin took me to his hometown Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province.

Our group set out from Changbai County on the banks of the Yalu River to caress the pine trees in the morning after the snow. When I left Changbai County, I raised my drone. What I saw was the beautiful Changbai Mountains and Rivers in the vast snowfields. The Yalu River, decorated with white snow, rushed along the river into the distance. Linjiang City, where the Yalu River flows, is under the jurisdiction of Baishan City along with Changbai County. It was one of the places where the volunteers crossed the Yalu River.

According to reports, at that time, the 350,000 mighty troops of our Volunteer Army crossed the Yalu River from the Yalu River Bridge on the Linjiang River...

In order to reach Fusong at noon, the bus carrying us traveled through the forest and snowfields. Outside the car window, various scenery rushed towards us, which made people dizzying and felt the attraction and affinity of the beauty of Changbai winter.

Yes, the beauty of Changbai winter is a kind of rough beauty; it is a kind of bold beauty; it is a kind of soul-stunning beauty, a kind of beauty that cannot be described in precise words. …It wasn’t until a group of pheasants soared into the sky in the snowy field that I was so shocked that I retracted my thoughts like wild horses.

Still through the car window, a series of long white winter landscape paintings came into my eyes alternately, which ignited my creative thoughts. So, through the car window, I took out my camera and pressed the shutter.

"If such a wonderful scenery is not photographed, it is simply a kind of pain and torture for a photographer!" I thought to myself while shooting.

The destination of our trip is Jinjiang Wooden House Village in Fusong.

Brother Yongqing who accompanied us said to me: "Brother Han, Jinjiang Wooden House Village is quite beautiful. It has accumulated many beautiful wooden houses and residential buildings. It is a picture of Changbai style in the middle of winter. Be sure to set aside a CF card for photography. Yeah! ”

Just when I said yes, Jinjiang Wooden House Village appeared and was frozen in the window frame of the car. A completely uncropped picture wrapped in silver immediately stunned me. Eyes!

Jinjiang Wooden House Village is famous far and wide. It is full of original ecological dreams and beauty all year round and is a place that tourists yearn for.

The picturesque wooden house village is located in the southeast of Changbai Mountain and the north of Manjiang Town, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. It was originally called "Gudingzi", named after an isolated and prominent mountain next to the village. The village is adjacent to Jinjiang River, which originates from Changbai Mountain. It was renamed Jinjiang Village during the Cultural Revolution.

After jumping out of the car, I saw a tourist girl holding the white winter snow from the wooden house village in the snow and throwing it into the air, which attracted laughter from other tourists.

It turns out that visitors to Jinjiang Wooden House Village basically come from the Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort, a characteristic industrial town less than two kilometers away from the village. Tourists experienced the fun of ice and snow there, and then came to the wooden house village to experience the charm of Northeastern folk customs. The millions of visitors to Luneng Resort every year are the guarantee and supplement of the tourist source of the wooden house village.

The Jinjiang wooden house village that I faced was as beautiful as jade surrounded by white snow. If there is harmony and unity in heaven and earth, that place should be Jinjiang Wooden House Village! Walking in Jinjiang Wooden House Village, I feel like I have traveled through time and returned to the starting point of the history of the mountain village.

Xu Bin and Yongqing introduced that the predecessor of Jinjiang Wooden House Village was called "Gudingzi" Village. More than 300 years of history. This village is hidden in the mountains. It was established by the bannermen and the original residents left behind by the imperial envoy Wu Mena during the Kangxi period.

When I was photographing the wooden house village, I met an artist sketching in the snow. Went up to chat, and soon we had the same language. It turns out that the painter is from Changchun. He is both a well-known painter and a folklore expert with in-depth research and understanding of local culture.

A painter friend said quickly that Jinjiang Village is a relic of the Manchu wood culture in Changbai Mountain and the birthplace of the Manchu people. During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it belonged to the Sushen land of the Manchu ancestors. A widely circulated saying among the people is that in the early days of the Republic of China, homeless people from Phoenix City, Liaoning Province entered the Changbai Mountain closed area to hunt for a living. A small number of them entered the virgin forest near Manjiang, which is now Jinjiang Village. They built a house out of stacks of wood and began a life of "beating roe deer with sticks to scoop out fish from bowls, pheasants flying into rice pots, black bears and wild boars entering the garden, and people and snakes sleeping in the same bed." The seeds of civilization germinate in people's casual lives.

Isn’t this the “Garden of Eden”? Today, we yearn for poetry and the distance. In fact, in our hearts, we are still full of nostalgia and dreams for everything ancient, simple, and original... I stood in the snow and thought.

This introduction by the painter boosted my energy in the middle of winter, and my thoughts began to fly again. I thought of the white mountains and black waters, the Manchus, Hetuala, and so on. A paradise.

Jinjiang Wooden House Village is known as China's "last wooden house village" at the foot of Changbai Mountain. It is the best-protected wooden house community discovered so far. In 2006, Jinjiang Wooden House Village was listed as a county-level traditional residential cultural heritage protection unit by Fusong County. In 2008, it was listed as one of the first batch of intangible cultural heritage by the Baishan Municipal People's Government. It is also listed in the list of traditional Chinese villages by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Manchu wooden house construction skills in this village are listed as provincial intangible cultural heritage of Jilin Province.

What’s amazing is that in Jinjiang Wooden House Village, almost everything is made of wood.

Not only are the walls of the houses in the wooden house village made of logs, but the tiles on the roofs are also made of wood chips, and even the chimneys are made of whole hollow tree poles. There are wooden fences in the front and back of the house, giving it an original ecological feel.

In recent years, Fusong County has regarded this place as an important fulcrum for rural revitalization. It has vigorously developed the tourism economy and developed Jinjiang wooden houses on the basis of protection. More tourists have come here to see Changbai Mountain. The charm of the Folk Culture Village at your feet.

This is a scenery that makes me cry!

I was born by the Black Water in the Northeast. When I was a child, I was fascinated by Baishan Nagada, because this is the White Mountain and Black Water. I spent my childhood and teenage years in houses known as "woodcut houses", and those wooden houses are very similar to the wooden houses in front of me now. In the Northeast, Manchu culture is engraved into the deep layers of the black soil, and we need to understand it layer by layer.

Look, this well is almost exactly the same as the well in front of my house; and the golden corn hanging in front of the folks’ doors seems to have my harvest sweat on it... Such a friendly picture reminds me of He sang the song "Come to that distant mountain village".

Now, following Xu Bin to Jinjiang Wooden House Village, this place satisfies all the beautiful memories of my childhood and boyhood.

Here, "the ink painting is eye-catching, the blue sky and black soil nourish the lungs, the sauerkraut and blood intestines nourish the stomach, the folk culture nourishes the heart, and the pastoral life nourishes the mind." The beauty of nature, humanity, and harmony are everywhere displayed. It is a " A place where beauty answers everything”.
