System construction of Shandong Youth Federation

1940 In August, Shandong Province held the first provincial youth congress and announced the establishment of the Shandong Youth Salvation Federation, marking the establishment of the Shandong Youth Federation.

1946 In March, Shandong Youth Salvation Association was renamed Shandong Democratic Youth Federation. Before the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), three youth congresses were held. 1958, according to the decision of all-china youth federation, the full name of Shandong Youth Federation was called Shandong Youth Federation, and the congress system was changed to the committee system.

Shandong Youth Federation implements the group membership system, with 37 group members, including provincial group members 17. Namely, Shandong Youth League Committee, Shandong Student Federation, Shandong Youth Development Foundation, Shandong Young Volunteers Association, Shandong Young Entrepreneurs Association, Shandong Young Journalists Association, Shandong Young Artists Association, Shandong Young Calligraphers Association, Shandong Young Photographers Association, Shandong Young Performing Artists Association, Shandong Young Writers Association, Shandong Young Medical Workers Association, Shandong College Students Work Association and Shandong Youth Palace Association. There are 20 local youth federations. At present, there are 538 members, all of whom are outstanding and influential representatives of young people from all walks of life in the province. According to the nature of the industry, it is divided into 17 plates, namely: science and technology, education, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, social science, industry, commerce and trade, enterprise management, finance, politics and law, culture and art, press and publication, sports, medicine and health.

The highest authority of the Provincial Youth Federation is the Provincial Committee, with a term of five years. The Provincial Youth Federation has one chairman and several vice-chairmen. When the National Committee is not in session, the Standing Committee shall preside over the meeting. The Provincial Youth Federation has a secretariat to handle daily affairs. At present, the President of the Provincial Youth Federation is Sun Aijun, and the Secretary-General is the Party.
