We have already conceived the picture before shooting. We use thread incense to form a clean picture, while the light smoke stays in the center of the photo and remains the main body of the photo. In terms of light processing, we use the external flash at the top of the machine as the light source, and those flashes in large photo studios are not needed. The light comes out from the back position, which makes the line fragrance have a strong three-dimensional effect. Originally, we were also worried about whether the light smoke with linear fragrance could stand out more in front of the black background, and the result was better than expected. Flash shows the texture of smoke very well, and it is ideal to adjust the flash output several times.

The shape of light smoke is the most difficult to grasp, in fact, it is simply out of our control, because thread cigarettes are very light, let alone blown by the wind. Shoot the glass and smoke.

The shooting of this wine glass used different ideas. Before shooting, I want to create the effect of light smoke in the wine glass. In fact, the incense just now is only the most basic treatment, and everyone must do it. But a stick of incense is not a special picture, just like carrying it with you. So many good works also use other objects to bring out light smoke, such as wine glasses.

Because the wine glass has no color, we deliberately changed the color temperature, resulting in a blue tone. The method is very simple. Adjust the color temperature K of the camera to 2500K, and you can shoot. The flash was originally 5500K, but now it will appear blue when shooting with high color temperature.

The cigarettes in the cup are not made of thread incense, so we use tower incense instead. This kind of cigarette is slightly heavier than thread incense, and the trend is easier to infer. Although the airflow will still have an impact, it is slightly better than the incense. As long as we put the tower incense behind the wine glass, we can produce smoke. Whether the smoke rises along the cup depends on everyone's position.

We still use a black background, but this time, a cardboard is added between the flash and the camera to reduce the light from entering the lens from the side, otherwise it will form the light incident. The light enters the wine glass from the right rear, forming a light smoke with prominent side light.

Some readers will wonder why the right backlight is used for the glass, but there is strong light on the left side. A big reason is that the glass itself is in an arc state, and the light will focus on the other side after entering, resulting in stronger light on the other side. In addition, we found that when light passes through the glass, some glass impurities will be produced, which is beyond our control, and pouring some water into the glass can reduce the particles. At the same time, Photoshop is indispensable in the later stage, which will reduce the particles in the later stage.

And cigarettes are also made of incense sticks. In fact, when processing, we originally wanted to insert incense directly on the muzzle to realize incense. However, in reality, when the incense sticks enter the muzzle, the incense sticks go out immediately. So the incense stick was fixed on the back of the gun instead, with the muzzle facing down, as if it had just been put down, and the tail of the gun was fixed with mud glue and clips.
