The Mystery of the Water Monster in Changbai Mountain Tianchi

Between 2000 and 2005, people continued to discover water monsters in Changbai Mountain Tianchi, which attracted the attention of people from all walks of life. At first, people still I don’t believe in water monsters, but in 2001, after some photographers captured the water monster, people had to believe that there was a water monster in Changbai Mountain Tianchi. The following is a summary of the reporter’s interviews with people who witnessed the water monster:

In At the foot of Changbai Mountain, there are two people. One used to work as a chef and the other as a photographer. However, after 2002, one was idle at home and the other was watching the cars in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. He never went up the mountain to play or work anymore and became a reporter. When asked, they told the reason:

In 2000, they happened to go to Changbai Mountain together. They happened to take an untraveled path and went down to the gravel next to Tianchi. On the beach, one walked to the left and the other to the right. The one who walked to the left not far away saw a monster's head emerging from the originally calm lake. He quickly called his friends, and they saw the monster heading towards them. They swam and hurried to the mountainside, but the matter did not end. After eating in the parking lot, they came to the pool to play. Under the afterglow of the setting sun, they paved their beds on the gravel beach. At 20 o'clock in the evening, Wang heard a noise and got up to check. He found a monster's head on the pool and shouted: Brother Liu, come and see, is it this thing? When Liu got up and took a look, he saw the monster heading towards them. As soon as he came, he ran away and never went up the mountain again.

Is there really a water monster? If there is, then where did it come from? There are many theories in the scientific community. Among them, the most supported one is the radiation mutation theory, which means that the Changbai Mountain Water Monster is It is caused by radiation pollution. Since Changbai Mountain is a volcanic crater, radiation will inevitably be produced, and there happens to be a kind of fish living in Tianchi. The water monster may be caused by radiation. However, some other people in the scientific community have said: The real world cannot suddenly become as big as in the movie. Because radiation generally pollutes the body. Once exposed to radiation, one should die due to radiation. Therefore, there cannot be a water monster, it must be people's hallucination.

In 2005, five years after the incident, scientists proposed that the water monster was a hallucination caused by otters, because the water monsters captured on camera were strikingly similar to otters, and otters usually appear in Spring leaves Tianchi and comes to Tianchi in autumn, which is why people see water monsters only in July and August.
