The School of Design and Art, formerly known as the Department of Art and Design, has a long history of running a school (arts and crafts specialty was founded in 1993, and changed to art and design specialty in 2003, and the specialty expanded rapidly after 2005). At present, there are five undergraduate majors in visual communication design, environmental design, product design, clothing and costume design, and industrial design (engineering), among which visual communication design is composed of visual communication design, visual media and animation.
