The School of Architecture of Chang 'an University was founded in 1979. There are five teaching units, namely, the Department of Architecture, the Department of Urban Planning, the Department of Art Design, the Institute of Architectural Technology and the Institute of Architectural Fine Arts, a central laboratory (including the laboratories of architectural physics, architectural CAD, architectural photography and architectural modeling), an architectural reference room, an archives management room and a Industry-University-Research trinity.
