What should I pay attention to when taking wedding photos outdoors?

The following are the five elements of outdoor wedding photos I shared. As long as you master the shooting skills, is it still difficult to take good-looking wedding photos?

First, a concise background.

A simple background can also highlight the main body and let you avoid messy distractions. When shooting a photo with a simple background, you can try to change the angle and find the most satisfactory effect in composition.

Second, interesting and changeable composition

A good painting starts with a blank and then slowly adds elements, while photography is just the opposite. We should try our best to eliminate unnecessary things. We can try some composition, such as lines, rhythm, texture, light and shade, which can contain one or three elements. I believe that the photos taken will have a good effect.

Third, make good use of gradient gray filter.

When taking outdoor wedding photos, especially during the day, the light in the sky and the ground will be stronger. At this time, the photos taken will be overexposed or underexposed. Learn to use gradient gray filter (long exposure can use black card), and you can shoot ideal works. The overall feeling will be much more professional. it wont hurt you to try it

Fourth, be good at using props.

Using some props can play a role in enriching the picture effect in many cases, and the shooting props of outdoor wedding photos are more diverse. For example, flower baskets, pillars, satchels, etc., these props look insignificant, but they can avoid small shortcomings on your body, add a lot of fun to wedding photos and enrich the picture. Therefore, when taking wedding photos, newcomers should be good at using shooting props to make their wedding photos different.

Fifth, avoid direct sunlight.

Bright sunshine provides good lighting conditions, making the scenery vivid and saturated with colors, which provides conditions for using high-speed shutters and small apertures. However, strong sunlight can also bring problems. The most prominent thing is that its dazzling light will open the eyes of the subject. At the same time, high-angle direct sunlight will also cause heavy facial shadows and skin wrinkles, which will damage the image beauty of the characters. So when taking pictures outdoors, let the sun shine on the subject from the side and avoid facing the sun directly.
