How to deal with people's eyes

Lead: An eye spot is generally appropriate. Eye spots are produced by auxiliary light irradiation in front of the subject, and there are many lights and eye spots. If you have too many eyes, your eyes will wander. Pay attention when shooting, it is best to have only one or two eyes. Let's take a look at how to deal with people's eyes.

There is no light in front of the subject, that is, there is no eye spot. For example, when shooting people outdoors, if you use backlight, there is no direct light in front of your eyes and no eye spots will occur; If you use a reflector or flash as an auxiliary light, eye spots will appear in your eyes. The eye spot should not be too big, and the size of the eye spot can be determined by adjusting the intensity and distance of the auxiliary light in front of the subject.

Eye spots should not be located in the middle of the pupil. The position of the eye point depends on the angle of the auxiliary light in front of the object. When the light is high, the spot position moves up; When the light is dark, the spot position moves down. If the eye point is just in the middle of the pupil, there will be a dull gaze, which is generally appropriate to deviate from the center of the pupil.

Use windows for natural light photography.

In a room with windows on both sides, there are usually two situations. In one case, two windows are located on two adjacent walls, and the window with brighter light can be selected as the main light source and the window with darker light as the auxiliary light source. Arrange people near the main light window to ensure a certain brightness. You can add a reflector opposite the main light window to adjust the lighting ratio of people appropriately. In another case, there are windows on two opposite walls, so you can choose a more suitable windowless wall as the background, the brighter window as the main light source, and the darker window light on the other side as the decorative light source, and the characters can be located near the main light window.

If the decorative lights on the characters are too bright, they can also be properly shielded. When shooting a frontal portrait, you can also use a reflector as an auxiliary light in front of the figure.

Take a lovely big photo.

Use banners for composition. With this composition method, the proportion of faces in the picture must be very suitable. If the area occupied by the face is too large, the picture will appear oppressive, otherwise the picture will appear empty. At this time, the photographer can consider shooting the model's side face and guide the viewer's line of sight through the model's eyes in the picture.

In banner composition, it is difficult for photographers to deal with the background and people's eyes. We can fully express our views by communicating with models before shooting.

Use close-ups to depict characters.

In the process of shooting, photographers need to know the appearance and personality characteristics of models, and different models need to portray different focuses. When shooting with close-up technique, we can not only show the five senses of the characters, but also show some other parts of the characters. Such close-ups are more creative and can leave more room for imagination. Close-ups are different from busts, but there are some similarities. The difference is that the close-up can not only shoot the part above the leg, but also shoot the part below the leg, such as the close-up of the foot. The similarity is that they are all based on showing the model's expression or expressing some feelings.

Pay attention to the details of the picture when shooting. Maybe the deviation of one detail will affect the beauty of the whole picture. Therefore, we should pay attention to keeping the characters and costumes clean, and every tiny gesture and movement of the characters is very important.
