Bai Xiaoci (Shen Xiaoming), photographer, was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, 1974, and now lives and works in Shenzhen. Nitraria is not his real name. In those days, because of his love for Wang Xiaobo, he gave himself this "×××" style pen name, which was used to walk the rivers and lakes. In 2004, out of personal interest, I created documentary photography, paying attention to the city and urbanization process of China. Photos have appeared in contemporary art exhibitions in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei and Milton Keynes. In 20 12, he was shortlisted for the Sovereign Asian Art Award, and his photography blog and works won many media awards such as Deutsche Welle and Dutch Radio International.
