Avatar 2: The Story of Water

Avatar: The Way of Water tells that Jack and Natalie form a family, and their children grow up gradually, which brings a lot of joy to this family. However, the crisis did not dissipate, and the Sally family tried their best to protect each other and strive for survival, and finally came to the island reef family story of Pandora to seek shelter.

More than ten years later, Jack Sally (sam worthington), a former paraplegic marine, became the Avatar with the genes of the Earthlings and Nami permanently, and married Nitley (zoe saldana), the daughter of the Omaticaya tribal leader.

Jack has completely adapted to his new body and patriarch status, and has three children with Neytiri, and adopted Grace's daughter Qili (sigourney weaver). Of the four children, the eldest, Natiyan (Jamie forest), is the most sensible and obedient, and he is also good at taking care of his younger brothers and sisters.

The second child Qi Li (sigourney weaver) is a little sensitive because she doesn't know who her father is. The third Locke (Brittan Dalton) loves adventure and is a troublemaker at home. The youngest sister Tuk (Trinity Bliss) always sticks to her brother and sister. The four are inseparable friends with the orphan Spider (played by Jack Champion) left by human beings.

It turned out that Jack and his family lived an idyllic life with their people after driving away the earthlings. However, the original dead Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) returns as Avatar, bent on revenge against Jack and Neytiri.

For the safety of his people and the protection of his children, Jack decided to leave with his family and start a new life in the hard-to-find marine tribe led by Ronal (kate winslet) and Te Novari (Cliff Curtis). Just as the family finally adapted to the new home built with water after many times of running-in, a new crisis is slowly approaching.

Positive evaluation

Audiovisual, the film shows the high level of the film industry. The film continues to immerse itself in Avatar. Whether it is underwater or sky, skin or hair, modeling or expression, its details are rich and vivid, and it is difficult for people to find faults in thousands of 3D special effects shots.

Judging from the plot, the film is a standard Hollywood popcorn movie. The fate and arc of the characters, the emergence and resolution of contradictions and conflicts are all full of "routines", which accurately capture the psychological rhythm of the audience. The film focuses on personal growth and family strength. The sublimation of environmental protection theme, ethnic identity and "being a man" is not necessarily subtle or innovative.

However, with the blessing of high-tech hardcore, the film has returned to a classicism. Simple story, simple road, all the spirit to be conveyed, people who see those wonderful pictures will understand.
