Michelangelo antonioni was born in Ferrara, a historic city in emilia-romagna, northern Italy. 1935, after obtaining a degree in economics from the University of Bologna, he began to write for the local newspaper Il Corriere Padano in Ferrara and became a film reporter.

English movies

Antonioni then signed a contract with the producer [Carlo Ponti] so that MGM could release the next three films in English.
