How to describe the dialogue of the characters?
My mother said to me, "I have to work overtime tonight, so go to bed early." "Mom told me" in this sentence is a hint. The hint is one.
The use of antithesis is the most commonly used method in writing tips, such as "exhaled smoke is harmful to people;" Inhale poison, harm yourself, sit on the ground and complain, wipe the white wall with your hands, go out happily and go home safely, take away the knowledge, leave a good book, take away the poetry book without regret, and burn a cigarette and half a mouthful of phlegm to humiliate sven. This prompt is rhythmic, catchy to read, harmonious and pleasing to the ear, giving people a sense of beauty and easy to remember.
Prompt is preceded by a colon.
Use commas in prompts.
The prompt is followed by a period.
Use double quotation marks for the language of all characters.
Four methods of dialogue description
When writing a composition, some students always write "XX" whenever they meet the dialogue between characters, which seems dull and monotonous. To write a lively dialogue between characters, you can use the following four ways flexibly.
1. Prompt comes first, quotation marks come last, and quotation marks are preceded by colons.
For example:
The little boy cried and said, "I left my film at home." (Little photographer)
This is the most commonly used writing. You can emphasize the hint. The above sentence emphasizes that these words are "said by the little boy crying".
4. The quotation marks precede the prompt, and the prompt is followed by a period.
For example:
"150 years old, do you remember wrong?" Little locust tree is a little incredulous. (Whispers in the Yard)
This kind of writing is more common in people's quick conversation, or in the case of listening to the voice before meeting the person, you can emphasize and highlight the quotation.
3. The quotation is before and after the prompt. In other words, the prompt is between two quotation marks followed by a comma.
For example:
"I stayed in the village." The third child said, "Maybe in the village, I can understand what happiness is." ("What is Happiness")
This kind of writing, one is to show that there is a pause in the middle of the character's speech, and the other is to emphasize the first half of the character's words.
4. Only quotes, no hints.
For example:
"Oh, after hearing what you said, the Great Northern Wilderness is better than anywhere else?"
"It doesn't look like anywhere!"
"Then tell me, is there any good way now?" (lovely grass pond)
This kind of writing must be used without being misunderstood by readers, and the content of everyone's dialogue should generally be on a separate line.
In fact, there are many ways to write dialogues. I believe that students will find a better expression in practical application.
