Rainy days, photos, photos, scenery

The ever-changing clouds in the sky have always been one of photographers' favorite themes. Among them, heavy and huge cumulonimbus clouds are related to rainy days. Cumulonimbus clouds are formed by strong air convection, so there will be many folds at the bottom, adding many layers to the sky.

However, in actual shooting, it is usually not as wonderful as what we see. The main reason is that the ground light is blocked by clouds, and the contrast between the sky and the ground is larger than expected, so when the ground is exposed, the sky will lose details because of overexposure. When shooting, you can measure the exposure level of the ground and sky by spot metering, and shoot in RAW format. In the later period, the sky can reduce the exposure and increase the contrast, while the ground environment is slightly brightened, making the overall picture more detailed.

A special case is the thunderstorm after the rain in summer. If it appears near evening, when there are cumulonimbus clouds in the sky and there are no dark clouds in the west, you can see that under the cloudy sky, the streets look golden and charming because of the color temperature of the sunset. At this time, the thunderstorm will make the sky and the ground seem to be covered with a layer of gauze made of gold thread, which is the most dreamy and charming.
