The Badain Jaran Desert, which is famous throughout the country and even the world, is located in the Ayou Banner and Ejina Banner of the Alxa League. The Badain Jaran Desert is the core area of ??the world's only desert global geopark, with a total area of ??49,200 square kilometers, a length of 270 kilometers from east to west, and a maximum width of 240 kilometers from north to south. It is the fourth largest desert in the world and the third largest desert in China. It is known for its "strange peaks, It is famous for its five unique features: Mingsha, lakes, sacred springs and ancient temples. The average altitude is 1100~1600 meters.
