Sony's 4K camera FDR-AXP55 has infrared night shooting function. The component under the camera lens is an infrared emitter. When the light is weak or there is no light at all, the infrared emitter of the camera will emit infrared rays. In the area covered by infrared rays, the camera can shoot black-and-white or green night vision pictures, and the effect is shown in the following figure.

The shooting method of FDR-AXP55 using infrared night vision function is as follows:

1. Install rechargeable batteries for FDR-AXP55.

2. Turn on the camera LCD screen and turn on the power switch.

3. Click the "Shoot at Night" button.

4. Press the Start/Stop button to start recording.

To stop recording, press the Start/Stop button again.
