Behind the enemy's road

Rashid Bo Chara's new film The Road to Collaborate with the Enemy is a standard drama set in New Mexico. The film is adapted from Jose Giovanni 1973' s work of the same name, but Pochalla's version adds a classic western flavor. This film is Rashid Pochalla's second film about American Muslims. It is more successful than Pochalla's last work "Like a Woman" and has some similarities with another film "London River".

Adapted from Giovanni's Pochalla, different versions of Giovanni's films hope to let the public know the disadvantages of the judicial system: reformed prisoners often lack trust, and parole regulations limit them to places where they have committed crimes. In contrast, Pochalla cut in from another angle, making it a western film, adding elements such as revenge, temptation and true love. Unfortunately, the last one doesn't make sense: why did Terrence and Garnett accept the latter's confession after only one date? Brenda Bryce's wonderful performance is debatable. Brenda blethyn once worked with Bossala in London River, and this time she plays Garnett's parole officer. The wonderful performance proved that she is the most suitable actress for this role in the world. Whitaker has good body language. He mastered the inner conflict of this role, but he was violent and tried to suppress it under the influence of religion. Once an attack occurs, his body will have a short and tense spasm. Allen Bostin plays the foster mother of Garnett, the leading actor. The role appeared too late, as if to highlight Garnett's growing despair. The role of Terrence is also a bit bad. This is a role outside the main line. In addition, Garnett became his accomplice 18 years ago. Why do you have to find him as a key person in the criminal action after parole? Can't you find a reliable criminal in New Mexico?
