Muta, Yingxian County, Shuozhou

Let's take a look at the original name of Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. Sakyamuni Pagoda, a Buddhist temple, is named Yingxian Wooden Pagoda because it is located in the northwest of Yingxian County, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province.

This wooden tower was built in the second year of Qing Ning in Liao Dynasty (Song 1056) and rebuilt in the sixth year of Jin Mingchang (Qing Yuan in Southern Song Dynasty 1 195).

The most precious thing about Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is that it is the tallest and oldest existing wooden pagoda building in China. 20 16 was certified by Guinness World Records. This tower is the tallest wooden tower in the world.

Shuozhou Chongfu Temple
