Business scope of China Photographic Copyright Association

1. Manage the copyright of members' photographic works, and safeguard their copyright and related legitimate rights and interests.

The second is to sign a license contract with the user to collect the use fee for using the members' photographic works managed by the association.

Third, distribute royalties to the obligee for using the members' photographic works managed by the association.

Fourth, according to the provisions of Article 47 of the Regulations on the Collective Administration of Copyright, collect and distribute the fees for the use of photographic works by non-members on their behalf.

Fifth, apply to the copyright administrative department for administrative punishment and bring arbitration or legal proceedings for acts of infringing the copyright of photographic works managed by the association.

Sixth, actively carry out investigation and research on the protection of photographic copyright and related issues, understand the trends of copyright protection at home and abroad, and make suggestions to the national legislature and copyright administrative departments.

Seventh, publicize and promote copyright and related knowledge, and improve the understanding and respect of copyright by members and society.

Eighth, actively promote the protection of domestic photographic works abroad, as well as the protection of overseas photographic works in China, and establish contacts with similar foreign institutions to carry out copyright protection cooperation.

Ninth, provide copyright-related legal and other consulting services to non-member rights holders who make requests.

Tenth, register and certify the copyright of photographic works. The association has a membership system. Any citizen, legal person or other organization in China who enjoys the copyright of photographic works or the rights related to copyright according to law can become a member of the Association by signing a photographic copyright contract with the Association and authorizing the Association to manage one or more rights of its photographic works. The association collects membership fees according to regulations.
