How to let the photographer's eyes determine the style of landscape works (1)
I photographed the opposite Ace Doril Bridge, and my nephew was standing beside it. The styles of the images we shot are very similar, but it doesn't matter, because we are all satisfied to be able to shoot this amazing building together. -Charlie Waite, The Doril Bridge in Oregon was shot by Charlie Waite. Our vision should dominate the style and the whole image making process. If the latter can't reflect the former, our works will appear empty and lack connotation, and the photographic intention, implementation process and image results will be misplaced and the images will be missing. -Charlie Witt Charlie Waite may be a paradox, but the concept of photographic horizon is so mysterious that the only language that can define it is photography itself. Describing images from an academic definition is a matter for gallery owners and art critics. For the creator of the work, this language is unknown, never said, or even little known-only the image itself is everything. Personal experience may be the only source of creative inspiration, and it is futile to try to restrain this creative impulse by definition and reconciliation. There is no doubt that the essence of vision is a subjective and intuitive feeling, and the individual's interpretation of the world is interpreted through the art of entity. It may be more straightforward to define style, because style is more or less influenced by the outside world and changing artistic tastes. Style can reflect the photographer's own evolution, but it will also be influenced by external forces, thus weakening the photographer's firm belief and making him lose confidence, and finally completely abandoning the previous photography style. The layout of elements made in the name of aesthetics, either out of instinct or stylization, was once cherished by photographers, and suddenly it was considered too rough and conservative. Style always evolves with time, and it cannot be buried in our consciousness like the horizon; Compared with the depth of our personal vision, the style of photography is insignificant. Mount Saint Laurent and the Pyrenees have all the elements: strong side light, rolling cumulus clouds, two peaks standing on one side of the picture, and a huge snow-covered mountain standing behind them. However, this image did not meet my expectations. What was my initial expectation? It is more of an "aura" and the depth that this image is not "in place".
