Who are the actors in Long Hudou?
Dragon and Tiger Martial Arts is an action documentary, jointly produced by Hong Kong Action Acrobatics Association and Beijing Jizhi Image Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd., directed by Wei Junzi, and assembled, Jackie Chan,,, Tsui Hark,,, Li Zhongzhi and Gu Zhaoxuan.
For the first time, the film reveals the changes of the Dragon and Tiger Martial Arts in Hong Kong over the past 60 years. The film was released in Chinese mainland on August 28th, 20021.
Behind the scenes production
The documentary was directed by Wei Junzi, a Hong Kong film research expert, and the title was written by Andy Lau himself. The film has been supported by many directors and actors in Hong Kong film and television circles, such as Sammo Hung, Tsui Hark, Jackie Chan, Ceng Zhiwei and Donnie Yen. Because some of them are dragon and tiger martial artists, and some of them are full of respect and gratitude to the dragon and tiger martial artists they have worked with.
Tsui Hark said, "No one will do what they did before." This is indeed an objective and fair evaluation. Today, with the technological progress, it is difficult for the film and television circle to return to moderns, a kung fu movie. But this Lost Wulin originated from China's opera art.
