3. Flexible use of color matching
Color matching
Color matching is not only the knowledge of photography. In life, no matter what clothes match or not, a good color scheme will always make people shine and look more comfortable. It can be said that good color matching is basically the first impression that determines whether people feel good or not.
Different colors bring different feelings (pictures from the Internet).
There are so many color schemes that it is difficult for me to tell you what color scheme is good. In the words of design practitioners, each color represents a certain emotion. Therefore, when composing a composition, try to feel the feeling brought by the color of the picture in the viewfinder while considering the position of the subject in the picture.
Bright colors are suitable for matching small, fresh and energetic themes.
The old-timers of photography will tell us that when color expresses a certain artistic conception in creation, it mainly depends on the photographer's feelings, imagination and creation of the subject. This is why the author said the last paragraph. The photographer will feel how the colors in the picture better match the picture effect through the viewfinder.
Messy photos (from the photography tribe)
In addition, to learn photography, we must first learn to shoot by subtraction. Why? Subtraction? And then what? First of all, this is because ordinary beginners don't know how to express their ideas in a photo when they are just learning photography. They don't know what is necessary and what is unnecessary in the same picture. Various elements and colors are mixed together, which makes the picture very messy.
The picture comes from the photography tribe.
The solution is: learn to shoot macro first! Try to use the' color' of the same color system to match the scene, and generally there will be no problem. Of course, there is no absolute color matching, and everyone can follow their feelings more. However, it is suggested that the main colors of the same picture should not exceed three (unless the color matching of the picture is really harmonious).
Bottom line: Only by knowing color matching can we really understand composition.
4. Take photos of dynamic scenery.
A slow shutter can highlight the dynamics in the landscape.
The theme of scenery has always been a big project in photography, and there are many ways to shoot scenery, from simple to complex. However, what I want to talk about here is a relatively simple one of the commonly used landscape shooting techniques: slow shutter shooting. Before you begin to learn slow door shooting, you must first have a good tripod.
The slow door makes the running water more dynamic (picture from the photography tribe)
What is the relationship between slow shutter shooting and photo motion? As we know, a photo is to freeze a certain moment, so this is a static image, how can it be dynamic? That is to say, in the same picture, the dynamic objects in the picture are blurred by long-time exposure technology, forming a certain motion trajectory, thus creating a scene combining reality with reality.
A slower shutter will blur the moving objects in the picture.
Generally speaking, the longer the exposure time, the longer the moving object stays in the picture. However, the longer the trajectory, the better the effect, which depends on the cooperation of the whole picture. But in common cases, the exposure time of about 0.5 seconds is enough to blur the dynamic objects in the picture, so as to achieve the effect of dynamic and static contrast. If it takes a long time, it will only make more elements in the picture empty and I don't know what I want to express.
The most commonly used square filter group in landscape shooting
But if you need a longer exposure time, and the ambient light is extremely abundant at this time, for example, on a sunny day, even the smallest aperture and the lowest sensitivity, the picture is still overexposed, so you need a subtractor. The most commonly used dimming filter is the medium gray density mirror (commonly known as ND mirror), which can reduce the amount of light entering the lens without affecting the color and shading effect of the photo. The darkening grades of the medium gray mirror are usually marked with ND2, ND4 and ND8, which respectively represent the extension of the shutter time of 1, 2 and 3. By superposition, a stronger darkening effect can be obtained.
ND2-400 adjustable filter
Adjustable ND FAQ: x dead light
Now there is also a ND gradient mirror on the market, which provides a large adjustable range of ND2-400. However, adjustable ND has a disadvantage, which is easily influenced by side light, leading to the common name? X-rays are dead, so I don't recommend you to buy them, because they are really difficult to use and not suitable for novices.
In slow door shooting, only manual setting can completely control the picture effect, because the automatic judgment of the camera can't get the effect you want accurately, and only provides relatively reasonable shooting judgment according to the safety shutter. Therefore, when learning to use the slow door to shoot, you can master further photography knowledge. It can be said that this is a compulsory course of photography.
5. Get a beautiful blur &; facula
The amount of blur is determined by the aperture, focal length and shooting distance (the distance from the front end of the lens to the main body). What are the blur elements related to the lens? Aperture? And then what? Focal length? . If the focal length is the same, the larger the aperture (the smaller the aperture value), the greater the blur. That is to say, in the case of the same shooting distance and focal length, the smaller the aperture value, the more obvious the blur effect, whether it is a zoom lens or a fixed focus lens. If you want to take a good photo with a blurred background, you must first digest the above sentence.
For beginners, after digesting the above, it is recommended to use the aperture priority (Av) mode to shoot, because the relationship between the most basic elements of photography can be understood by adjusting the aperture and exposure compensation. Moreover, it is easier to control the blur amount by setting the aperture value first.
In the aperture priority automatic exposure mode, even if the brightness of the subject changes, the set aperture value will not change, but the shutter speed or ISO is changed through exposure compensation to obtain appropriate exposure, so it is suitable for use when priority blur is needed.
Digest the above elements and practice consolidation through continuous shooting. Then, I will learn to find a suitable background and get out the light spots in the blurred background. The formation of a light spot is very simple, that is, a point light source far away from the subject. And these point light sources can be said to be metal reflection points, light transmission between leaves, night lights and so on.
Shoot with a large aperture lens of homemade heart-shaped aperture cardboard.
A point light source may not shine by itself, and even a small reflective thing may become a point light source, which can be found through careful observation, because even elements that are not in the original background can be improved through thinking. So to put it bluntly, you should explore the things around you by yourself, because even a small item may become an ornament to your photos.
