What's the difference between zinc alloy handle and aluminum alloy handle?
1, zinc alloy
Zinc alloy is an alloy based on zinc and added with other elements. The alloying elements usually added are low-temperature zinc alloys, such as aluminum, copper, magnesium, cadmium, lead and titanium. Zinc alloy has low melting point, good fluidity, easy welding, brazing and plastic processing, corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, and easy recycling and remelting of waste materials; However, the creep strength is low, and it is easy to change dimensions due to natural aging. Prepared by melting, die casting or press working. According to the manufacturing process, it can be divided into cast zinc alloy and deformed zinc alloy.
The main additive elements of zinc alloy are aluminum, copper and magnesium. Zinc alloy can be divided into deformed zinc alloy and cast zinc alloy according to processing technology. The cast zinc alloy has good fluidity and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for die-casting instruments, automobile parts shells and so on.
2, aluminum alloy
Aluminum alloy is the most widely used non-ferrous metal structural material in industry, which has been widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, chemical industry and other industries. With the rapid development of industrial economy, the demand for aluminum alloy welded structural parts is increasing, which makes the research on aluminum alloy weldability deepen.
Aluminum alloys usually use alloying elements such as copper, zinc, manganese, silicon and magnesium. It was invented by Alfred Wilm, a German at the beginning of the 20th century, which is of great help to the development of aircraft. After World War I, the composition of aluminum alloy was listed as a state secret in Germany. Compared with ordinary carbon steel, it is lighter and corrosion resistant, but its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of pure aluminum. In a clean and dry environment, a protective oxide layer will be formed on the surface of aluminum alloy.
