Compared with SLR cameras such as Canon Nikon, Leica S and Hasselblad are hundreds of thousands easier, and a lens needs tens of thousands of SLR cameras. What are the advantages?
The first is the cost of CMOS/CCD, which is a very difficult product to produce. The smaller the area, the higher the output, and the larger the area, the lower the output. Suppose a CMOS/CCD with 120 frame can't be used as long as one pixel has a problem, but this CMOS/CCD can be cut into several small APSC frames. It means that every qualified CMOS/CCD with 120 frame may be accompanied by several defective products, which can be used in small frames, but the production capacity of 120 frame determines the price. The area of three 135cmos/ccds can reach one 120 (for example, 6X4.5, if it is 6X6, three135 frames are needed), but the price of one 120 CMOS/CCD is far more than three135cmos/.
Secondly, the lens problem. The optics of 120 is different from that of 135. There are great differences in pixels per inch, luminous flux, lens optical design and so on. To meet the imaging density of 120, it is impossible to use the material of 135 lens, so the lens material here is better than that of 135 lens. Thirdly, it is the problem of internal image processing chip. The bigger the picture, the stronger the chip performance, and the cost is here.
Finally, the universal 135 format camera fully meets the daily use of families and individuals, including news, photography, sports and so on. Therefore, the market of 135 format is very large, and the product price of manufacturers will not be too high under the scale effect. On the other hand, 120 frame is not suitable for family, personal, news and sports applications because of its large picture and excellent picture quality. You can't pursue news topics with such big and heavy photographic equipment. 120 is more in the commercial field, that is, commercial photography, such as taking pictures of cars, watches and stars, and scientific research occasions that need big screen support, such as aerial photography, underwater exploration and medical treatment. And some institutional occasions. There is necessary demand in the market, but the demand is not high, so the price is bound to be expensive. Just like Rolls-Royce's annual sales are less than a fraction of Volkswagen's, it can only be maintained at a high premium.
The advantage of 120 is that it has larger pixels per inch. For example, the new model H6D- 100C just released by Hasselblad has a resolution of 1 billion, and this 1 billion is based on 120. If converted into 135, it is 65438+. That is to say, the same photo, H6D- 100C(44*33mm), is 5DS(36*23.9mm) compared with Canon's 50 megapixel 135 frame, and the details and clarity of the photos taken by the former are three to four times that of the latter. This is the strength of 120.
