The newspaper layout of Zhangye Daily

The newspaper has 68 employees, including 53 full-time employees, 5 on-the-job employees 15, 40 editors, 68 with college education or above, and 2 with postgraduate education. Twenty-three people obtained senior and intermediate titles, including two senior titles. The newspaper implements the president responsibility system under the leadership of the party Committee and consists of seven people. The newspaper now has 8 departments, 3 centers and 2 subordinate enterprises, namely publishing department, journalist department, special issue department (Zhangye Daily Corridor Weekend), communication department, photography department, advertising department, distribution department, office, financial planning center, phototypesetting center, news training center, Hexi printing plant and news travel agency. Six counties and districts in the city, Hexi College and Municipal Electric Power Bureau have set up 8 reporter stations with resident reporters 16 people. In 2000, the newspaper was named as a municipal civilized unit by the municipal party Committee. From 2000 to 2003, the newspaper won the first prize in the annual comprehensive assessment organized by the municipal party committee and municipal government for four consecutive years.
