Those memories of Yunnan

Talking about Yunnan with friends, I suddenly found that my trip to Yunnan was more than ten years ago, and I was deeply impressed by the memories of several points I visited. .......

The first stop is Shilin. Yunnan Stone Forest is listed in the World Heritage List of the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. When I saw the Stone Forest, I was as surprised and amazed as I saw the Terracotta Warriors. Large and small stones, dotted like towering forests, have different shapes and rich pictographic significance. Because it is the hometown of Ashima, the most representative stone is wearing yellow clothes and wrapped in national costumes. I have the image of Ashima carrying a medicine basket. The spectacular stone forest can't be expressed in words because of my poor writing. I can only sigh the ingenuity of nature and the vagaries of the world.

The ancient city of Dali, foreigner street let me stop, and Cangshan Erhai Lake in Dali made me more fascinated. Looking through the window at the white clouds curling up from behind Cangshan Mountain and floating in the blue sky, I can only say, "The sky is really blue, the mountains are really green, and the clouds are really beautiful." Sitting on a large cruise ship visiting Erhai Lake, from the first floor to the third floor, from front to back, from left to right.

Old Town of Lijiang, with its small bridges and flowing water, makes you wonder whether you have been to the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. The ancient town at night is a bustling scene, as if everyone on TV is at Qinhuai's home. At the beginning of the lights, the songs and dances were crowing, and three or five friends were sitting in an antique coffee shop, drinking a glass of beer and sipping a cup of coffee. Enjoy local national performances. How delightful!

Xishuangbanna, the weather is unusually hot, 389 degrees, and the architectural style is not the style of three rooms and one wall with blue bricks and white walls in Lijiang, Dali. Large-scale buildings in the city have the style of Southeast Asia, and residential buildings are typical diaojiao buildings. The virgin forest, tropical botanical garden and wild elephant valley there are all amazing.

What impressed me the most was the song and dance bonfire party of Lancang River Mekong River Night. There are not only graceful betel nuts, swaying coconut trees and lush lawns, but also hospitable nationalities and mysterious ancient national cultures. There, you can also taste the rich royal meals of Dai kings, unique ethnic barbecues and pure rice wine. Visitors can not only watch beautiful songs and dances, but also participate in them and interact with actors. Feel the folk customs. Those who are interested can also jump Aini bamboo poles and throw sandbags with local beauties. The most spectacular scene is that thousands of tourists hold red lights and queue up to put out water lanterns to pray for peace. When the blazing bonfire is lit, it will reach the climax of the party. Tourists from all over the world sang and danced around the fire, and cheerful laughter spread everywhere. .......

In Xishuangbanna, you can truly appreciate the sentence "See the natural scenery in Hainan, the ethnic customs in Yunnan, and the Central Plains culture in Henan". Perhaps, as a tour guide in Yunnan said, mountains are better than water, and perhaps she is far worse than Jiuzhaigou and Zhangjiajie. But the unique ethnic customs there are still worth seeing.

Yunnan is a place where many nationalities are concentrated, with simple folk customs and kind people. I don't think we need to be too worried and vigilant when dealing with their locals. Ethnic minorities are generally straightforward, practical and hospitable. Let's talk about a few small things briefly.

On the night when we first arrived in Kunming, our friend picked us up by car. Because the room was booked by a friend of a friend, the friend who picked us up was not familiar with the specific location of the hotel. After a while in the city, the car stopped in front of a shop and my friend got off and asked for directions. At that time, a young girl dressed in fashion in the shop was talking on the phone at the door. Hearing the question, she immediately put down her mobile phone and walked out of the store, pointing at her friends while talking. After the friend found out, he thanked him and got on the bus and went in through the window. A friend interrupted her, and she didn't have a fire, and she was enthusiastic about pointing out. My friend said that Yunnan natives are very enthusiastic.

In Old Town of Lijiang, we are going to have someone take a snapshot. Local photographers enthusiastically let us look at the photos and choose the scenery, and recommended to wear the national costumes they prepared, repeatedly stressing that photography fees and clothes are free. Someone told me that I wanted to wear their clothes, but knowing that the clothes had to be changed in the room at the end of the nearest alley, my vigilance made me give up my idea. Who knows what happened? ! So, I wore casual clothes and took photos. Then, the young man asked me to take pictures in that room. I hesitated again. Seeing my suspicious face, the young man smiled. "Elder sister, don't be afraid, we won't rob you. We are all conscientious businessmen. What he said embarrassed me, so I went to the house in the alley with doubts. Go in and have a look: it's very big. After the tourists pick out their clothes, they go to the next suite to help change them. There are people like me waiting to choose photos, take photos, and develop photos. I am relieved, but more embarrassed. I'll look for that young man later. He's long gone. People have been busy taking pictures to make money, and I don't care if I have time.

What impressed me most was the driver who took us to Lijiang airport. The young man looks quite real. He is very talkative. Chatting and chatting, the young man talked about family affairs. His father died when he was very young, but it never rains but it pours. The next year, his house caught fire and his house was burned down. With the help of villagers, his family moved to an abandoned old house. It was hard at that time. The competitive mother still insists that they go to school. During my brother's college years, his family was poor. When I was in junior high school, he couldn't finish the homework of copying two TV news assigned by my political teacher every day. Because I can't afford a TV at home, it's too extravagant for them ... When it comes to sadness, the young man can't help crying. After all the hardships, my brother graduated from college and caught up with the last batch of national reunification. My brother also studied hard and made progress. When she became the local township head, my sister married the right person as she wished. Her family built a new house and bought the biggest TV in the village. Filial eldest sister-in-law also took her mother to travel to Banna by plane, making her the only one of her peers in the village who has ever flown.

As the boarding time is still early, we must pass the young man's village on our way to the airport. He sincerely invited us to his home to learn about the typical local Bai folk house style. Along the way, we have basically no bad feelings towards the local people. We went happily. The young man's mother went to the market, but unfortunately we didn't see him. He warmly entertained us to eat food at home and showed us around his new house. There were corners falling in front of and behind the house. And the vegetation planted in our family. Through watching and introducing, I have a certain understanding of the local customs and lifestyle. The children of poor families are in charge early, and the young man's cheerful personality is slightly melancholy, but more is strong. On the way to the airport, he looked forward to a bright future and described his future ambitions for us. We sincerely wish him a bright future!

Over the years, I believe that everything in Yunnan is getting better. That young driver must have got married and started a family. I wonder if he has realized his long-cherished wish? I think so.
