According to legend, during Zhou Wuwang's expedition, he made an alliance with 800 vassals near the Yellow River in the northeast and southwest of Meng County, held a swearing-in meeting and crossed the river from then on. So this alliance place is called Alliance Platform, and this ferry is called Jin Meng. Later, it was renamed Jin Meng.

2. Geographical location

Mengjin County, located in the hilly and mountainous area of central and western Henan Province, is one of the counties under the jurisdiction of Luoyang City. Zhengzhou110km in the east, Sanmenxia 90km in the west, Luoyang in the south and the Yellow River in the north.

Located in Laocheng Village, Menghui Town, a famous town in Zhongzhou, it is a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province. It is the residence of Wang Duo, a great calligrapher in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
