Crossing the World is a gunfight film directed by John Woo and starring Chow Yun Fat, Leslie Cheung and Cherie Chung. The film was released on 199 1. The story tells that A Hai, A Zhan and Hong all stole a famous painting under the arrangement of their adoptive father, but they were trapped and chased. They separated and reunited in Hong Kong a few years later.

Ahai (), Zhan () and are orphans adopted by the underworld boss. When they grow up, they become painting thieves and help him make money. At the Paris Museum in France, the famous painting "The Herring Girl" was stolen. At the same time, A Hai, A Zhan and Agile stole another famous painting. When they were trading with the French eldest brother, they learned that the famous painting "The Girl of Hailin" was in a sinister castle.
