Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau is a photographer's paradise. Unfortunately, Guizhou has only been to southeastern Guizhou and southern Guizhou, and Yunnan has never set foot.
On May Day this year, I think we should go for a walk in Kunming. I wanted to spend a few more days in Fuxian Lake or Dongchuan Red Land, but the weather was bad and I felt that I couldn't take a good photo, so I backed out.
1, Dianchi Lake Yunnan's political center started from Erhai Lake, and the centers of Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom are all near Erhai Lake. It was not until the Yuan and Song Dynasties that the political center of Yunnan moved to the periphery of Dianchi Lake. This does not mean that Dianchi Lake was developed late. In fact, there are many cultural relics around Dianchi Lake, which are not inferior to Erhai Lake.
Today's Dianchi Lake, with an area of 330 square kilometers, has been greatly reduced. Not only that, but also the water quality is poor. Although it has been rectified for a long time, green algae can still be seen on the water.

There are many wetland parks around Dianchi Lake, and Ridge Park is a famous one, and because it is adjacent to Xishan cableway, tourists must come.

There are many stumps beside Dianchi Lake, some of which seem to have just been cut down and covered with moss, just for a close-up. The stump is covered with green algae, which shows that the lake is highly eutrophic.
seagull
Although Dianchi Lake is an inner lake, it is famous for its numerous seagulls. These seagulls come from Siberia and come every winter and return in late spring. It's a rare time to go, but it's not bad There are only a few left.
seagull
Seagulls in Dianchi Lake are not afraid of people. The local taxi driver talked endlessly about the protection of seagulls in Kunming, saying that he killed one and spent a year in prison, and he didn't know whether it was true or not.
2. Xishan
Xishan is adjacent to Dianchi Lake and has been called "the best place in Yunnan" since ancient times.
Seeing Dianchi Lake from Xishan Mountain
In Xishan, you can overlook Dianchi Lake, which is seen from halfway up the mountain. In order to get an extreme view, you need to go upstairs to Xu Lingting at the top of the mountain.

3. Guandu Ancient Town
There are many cultural relics and historic sites in Guandu ancient town. Within an area of less than 1.5 square kilometers, there are many landscapes in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Wushan, Liusi, Qige and Eight Temples.
Temple Station Temple Jingang Pagoda
This is a typical Lama-style sandstone stupa, which is the longest existing in China. The panorama is too messy, so it's better to take a small scene.

Miaozhansi Twin Towers
Miaozhan Temple is the first of the six temples in Guandu. Its land was originally a part of Dianchi Lake, and snail shells were piled up underground, so Miaozhan Temple was also called Luo Feng Temple. In front of Miaozhan Temple, there are two 13-story square solid brick towers with dense eaves, which were built in Taiding for four years (1327- 1335). After many rebuilds, it was completed in Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty, and two towers were originally built. The West Tower was destroyed by the earthquake in the 13th year of Qing Daoguang (AD 1833), and the East Tower still exists. Today's West Tower was newly built on 200 1.

The entrance of Miaozhan Temple has the style of Qing Dynasty: five colors collide violently. At sunset, I borrowed a scene.

Confucius Temple in Miaozhan Temple
The confluence of Confucianism and Zen can be seen. Only when I came back did I know that the Dali dynasty in history was very close to the Buddha, and an emperor demanded that only monks could gain fame. I don't know if this is the reason for setting up a Confucius temple in the temple.

5. Xisi Pagoda, also known as Huiguang Pagoda, stands on the west side of the middle section of Dongsi Street, with a history of more than 1 100 years, opposite to Dongsi Pagoda. "Misty and rainy Twin Towers" became one of the "Eight Scenes of Kunming" in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Sista
The East Temple Tower is at the end of the street, close to the residential building, so it is difficult to take pictures.
