Artistic feature

1985 devoted himself to the creation of Hakka-style Chinese paintings. He grew up in Hakka area and has a special liking for his hometown, one mountain, one water, one room and one house. His paintings have typical Hakka characteristics, strong local flavor and unique artistic treatment of the pictures. They often take a large area of tile surface around the dragon yard as the main body of the picture, which looks like a dragon ridge from a distance, reflecting Hakka humanistic thoughts. Many works are collected by local art galleries, memorial halls and individuals.

Main works and awards

His works include Land Reclamation, Review of People's Power, Nostalgia, Smoke Around Hakka Villages, Comrades, Hakka Customs, etc. Two paintings by Peng have been published.

His works have been selected for many national and provincial art exhibitions. Representative works include the oil painting "Land Reclamation" and "Review of People's Power" (this painting is collected by Guangdong Provincial Art Museum).

Chronology of major events

After 1985, he devoted himself to the creation of Chinese paintings expressing Hakka customs.

1990 10 held a solo exhibition of Hakka customs in Guangzhou.

199 1 was selected as the "Huaxia Art International Exhibition" held in Taiwan Province Province and won the silver prize.

1994 Hakka village filled with smoke won the first prize in the International Exhibition of Chinese Art held in Taiwan Province Province.

1995 "Comrades in Arms" was selected as the "Art Exhibition to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's Victory" in Guangdong Province and won the Excellence Award, which was collected by the Guangdong Provincial Art Museum.

1996 "Longevity" was selected as the "4th National Health Art Photography Exhibition" sponsored by China Artists Association and won the bronze prize.

He has held five solo exhibitions in Hong Kong in 199 1, 1994, 2000, 200 1 and 2003.

In April 2000, he went to Taiwan Province Province to participate in the painting and calligraphy exhibition of foreign painters on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Hakka customs won the first prize of "Joint Exhibition of Famous Paintings and Calligraphy Works across the Taiwan Strait" in Hong Kong and Taiwan Province.

In May 2006, he held a solo exhibition in Zengcheng.

In 2007, "Hakka Smoke Around the Village" was selected as "the 4th China Art Exhibition of China Artists Association".

In 2009, "Spring Breeze and Rain" was selected as the "5th China Art Exhibition to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of People's Republic of China (PRC)".
