How does Nikon d3400 use the automatic motor function?

Nikon d3400 uses the automatic motor function like this:

1. Turn on the camera and select "A" automatic mode or "S" shutter priority mode on the shooting mode knob.

2. Ensure that the autofocus switch on the lens is in "AF" autofocus mode.

3. Aim the camera at the target to be photographed, press the shutter button for half a press, and wait for the camera to focus on the target automatically.

4. When the camera is in focus, press the shutter button and press it completely to take pictures.
