How to Transform 2D Coordinate into 3D Coordinate in UAV Photogrammetry

1. Determine the position and number of image control points: Determine the number and position of image control points according to the size of the survey area and the complexity of the terrain. Image control points need to be evenly distributed in the survey area and cover the whole survey area.

2. Collect the image information of the image control point: the image information of the image control point is obtained by shooting by the drone.

3. Determine the plane position of the image control point: the image information is converted into the coordinates in the plane coordinate system by the image processing software, and matched with the known ground coordinates.

4. Calculation of three-dimensional coordinates: According to the matched plane coordinates and the known ground coordinates, the three-dimensional coordinates of the image control points are calculated through the three-dimensional coordinate transformation algorithm.
