"FR" front and rear drive has always been the passion of many fans who love driving. Now Cadillac? CT4 takes "FR" as one of the biggest selling points to come to us.

Personally, I think the appearance of CT4 is quite good, which can be regarded as the unified family design of this generation of Cadillac models, which is very in line with the aesthetics of a straight man like me.

Because I just went to the 4s shop to test drive CT5 the day before the test drive, my personal feeling is still very obvious. Although this CT4 is also top-equipped, compared with the top-equipped CT5, it lacks MRC, MRC, MLSD and brembo calipers, which will affect the actual driving experience. Let's sell it here before we mention it.

This "old face" again, the 2.0T engine code-named LSY, is only 4 horsepower lower than the book data on CT5, and now it is used by almost all GM models. This country is really saving the original equipment manufacturers.

8AT gearbox doesn't use electronic gear like CT5. Personally, I prefer this mechanical gear.

There is no doubt about CT4' s motivation, but it is not as violent as ATS in LTG era. I wonder if there will be an official special tune in the future ~? As for the gearbox, I feel that this 8AT is the one on the previous ATSL, which is smoother than before, but the shifting speed is not as good as that of the new 10AT and ZF 8AT. When I started to accelerate, I could clearly feel the power interruption when shifting gears. Although it is really short, it stands out by comparison. Personally, I guess this is why CT4 is lighter than CT5 100 kilograms, and the acceleration is only fast. ? Although the brakes are not supported by brembo brake calipers like CT5, the foot-feel braking force is still good. Theoretically, there is no problem to change them. The position of the caliper bridge is exactly the same as that of the previous ATS, and it can be used directly.

235? 40? R 18 Obsidian has the same black edge as CT5. However, the CT4 tire is a horse brand four-season tire, and its grip is definitely not as good as that of the top ps4 of CT5.

The first-hand feeling of CT4 is similar to that of CT5, but the front suspension stroke will be softer and more comfortable, similar to my 325i, but the overall rebound and support in the middle and rear sections are still in place, which can give people stronger confidence. ? The steering feel is close to CT5, which belongs to the heavier one. ? As a "car" with FR layout, it is definitely necessary to turn off the stabilization program and feel the pleasure of drifting. In this respect, CT4 has done a very good job. As long as the traction control is turned off, the rear of the car will become flexible, and then the stability program will be turned off, so you can turn around directly. And a well-supported suspension will give you a sense of security. ? However, it is no problem to eat LSD at this time. When CT5 skids at the rear of the car, just modify the steering wheel a little, and you can safely step on the gas pedal. The rear of the car is obedient, but CT4 will obviously be more difficult to control, which may really benefit from MRC. Whether the chassis of CT5 is a speed bump or a sudden opening, it will always give you a very overall feeling, while the front section of CT4 is soft. It will be a little loose when passing over some uneven roads, but this is only for CT5 with MRC electromagnetic suspension. I have to praise Cadillac's domestic configuration, and the hardware configuration of the same level and price is really rich.

Because the instrument panel is exactly the same as CT5, many people talk about the need for a full LCD instrument. In fact, I personally think that this semi-LCD instrument is more textured for drivers like us.

The vehicle electronic program control panel is similar to CT5, but the position is moved to the end near the armrest box.

The interior space of CT4 is really cramped, similar to some A-class cars. The overall interior atmosphere is similar to CT5, very Cadillac. Personal feeling not only embodies the sense of movement, but also creates the texture that luxury brand cars should have.

CT4 is really a fun "car", but its smallness is both her selling point and her shortcoming. At present, among all the entry-level luxury brands on the market, CT4 is definitely the most interesting one and the most personalized one. This positioning is doomed to be unsold in China. She will only be a "big toy" for young people who love driving and personality. Isn't it another way of life to insist on personality and achieve their own "small and beautiful"? Personally, I still hope that there will be more cars with personality like CT4 in the domestic automobile market. After all, there are too many comfortable home choices.
