Master of Architecture Degree Setting and Credit Requirements:
Master of Architecture is a professional degree program, with a duration of 2 years and 3 years, and is certified by the National Building Accreditation Board (NAAB). Among them, the two-year Master of Architecture program is Masters of Architecture Advanced Standing Track, which requires applicants to have a professional background in architecture when they graduate. Complete at least 2 semesters and 6 credits of architectural studio courses; Have high design ability, equivalent to completing two semesters of postgraduate courses; Completed 24 credits of architecture course, including architectural technology (including structure and environmental control system), architectural history, architectural structure and drawing course 18 credits; Received 6 credits for non-undergraduate professional courses, with a total of 42 credits.
Architectural design combination requirements:
Replicas, hand-drawn, 2D or 3D works or handwritten materials of handicrafts or designs; In addition, you need to submit a digital portfolio through the slide room or CD/DVD, and each work should be compressed into a CD/DVD separately. Pictures should be in JPG format, and each work should not exceed 3MB. Basic requirements for application:
Language requirements: TOEFL score is not less than 93, and IELTS score is not less than 6.5. There is no single requirement for both.
Degree background requirements: Bachelor degree from a regular university.
GPA: no requirement. Under normal circumstances, graduate schools in American universities require applicants to have an undergraduate GPA, especially a GPA of no less than 3.0 for juniors and seniors, but art colleges pay more attention to the quality of personal works and have lower requirements for GPA.
GRE: Not required, but it is recommended to submit GRE scores of MA, MAT and MLA projects.
