What do you mean by "halo" and "flare" in the camera?
Halo is the result of repeated refraction of the lens, reflection or scattering of the inner surface of the lens barrel and scattering of the inner surface of the camera after sunlight enters the lens.
Halo refers to the effect of halo around a point light source in a photo, which may be beneficial or undesirable. In fact, glare also belongs to an excessive halo.
Spot: The messy rays converge on the screen to form a blurred image, which is called spot; The circle formed by pinhole imaging is called spot.
Halo is also called phantom or flare. After the axis of any lens is aligned with a strong light source, it will appear in the photo. Flare caused by halo will affect the contrast and clarity of the picture. Unreasonable and inappropriate halo will make the whole photo a waste, but well-conceived and actively used halo is indeed a foil to set off wonderful works.
The light spot of halo has a great relationship with aperture. When the aperture of any lens is fully opened, the aperture is the same, but it is different to narrow the aperture. Only the circular aperture continues to maintain the characteristics of the circular aperture, and its halo is also circular.
Small aperture lenses and lenses below wide angle and medium focus are generally not prone to halo when shooting at a long distance; It is generally not easy to appear halo when shooting with a wide-angle lens.
When the telephoto lens is facing a strong light source, it is easy to appear halo spots on the picture. Changing the direction of the lens can move the spot out of the picture.
The telephoto lens points to a strong light source, and narrowing the aperture can only improve the spot. To remove spots, we must move the direction of the lens, which can be seen from the viewfinder. When the center focus is facing a strong light source, there will be a weakness, which is usually overcome by narrowing the aperture. Of course, you can move the light spot out of the picture by changing the lens direction slightly.
