What will a picture of a pine tree bring?
In my personal opinion, the reason why old people have this idea comes from their living background. Pine trees can usually be seen in cemeteries. Pine trees are cold-resistant and evergreen, symbolizing tenacity and immortality, and are often associated with revolutionary martyrs. There are indeed many pine trees planted near the tomb of the martyrs, so some people think that standing in front of the pine trees and taking pictures is like a martyr dying.
In fact, from a distance, pine trees still look too withered. In winter, a lonely pine tree, plus yellow vegetation all over the mountain, is really not beautiful to take a picture.
On the other hand, from the perspective of photography skills, in addition to choosing scenery, lighting should also find a good angle. Pine trees generally have thick and lush leaves. If you take pictures under a big pine tree, there will inevitably be dark light on your face.
Old people, with little education, may have heard it from the older generation when they were young. Anyway, no matter from feng shui or photography skills, we should not just shoot pine trees.
