What is the definition of digital image?

Digital photography, also known as digital photography or digital photography, refers to the technology of using digital imaging elements (CCD, CMOS) instead of traditional film to record images. Cameras equipped with digital imaging elements are collectively referred to as digital cameras. For digital photography, the principle of pinhole imaging is still used to shoot optical images, and only the optical images projected on it are converted into digital information that can be recorded on storage media (CF card, SD card). Its imaging can generate standard bitmap image format, modify it with the help of bitmap image retouching software such as Photoshop, output it as physical photos through digital printing or printer, directly display it through display tools such as monitors, projectors and electronic photo albums, and directly convert it into various formats suitable for network publishing or e-mail transmission.
