Try Fuji XF90 F2.0 lens with long focus and large aperture.

This lens is also the longest fixed-focus lens of Fuji X digital camp so far. With F2.0 super-large aperture and seven-fold seal design of lens barrel, it can work at the lowest temperature of-10℃.

From the lens parameters, this lens is more suitable for portrait and outdoor photography. Although there was an XF56mm F 1.2 lens before, it is obvious that the XF90 lens has a better shooting prospect. Even if the focal length reaches 90mm, the volume is well controlled. When shooting with X-T 10, although it is larger than the ordinary short-focus lens, it will not feel particularly top-heavy.

XF90 lens adopts a newly developed quadruple linear motor, which realizes fast and accurate autofocus. Here, I would like to mention that Fuji X-T 10 has adopted a brand-new focusing system, and the earlier X-T 1 has specially upgraded its firmware for focusing. In order to test the cooperation between the two, the author also conducted a street test, and the focusing speed and success rate were much better than the previous X-T 1.

Although XF90 is not the common "90 micron" of other brands, its recent focal length has reached 1500px, that is to say, under the condition of equivalent focal length 137 mm, its magnification has reached 0.3. Although it is different from professional macro lens, it can meet the needs of ecological and commercial photographers in some cases, especially the telephoto lens will keep up with the subject.

The weight of XF90 lens is about 540g, which is relatively low among similar lenses. The aperture of the front filter is only 62mm, and the front lens is coated with Fuji's own super EBC, which can effectively control glare and reduce ghost effect.

XF90 has solid overall workmanship, moderate damping of the focus ring and very quiet rotation, which can minimize the sound interference caused by rotating the focus ring when shooting video. Below the focus ring is an aperture ring, which can be adjusted when shooting. Because there is no endless aperture, there will be sound when changing the aperture when shooting video.

The advantage of F2.0 large aperture is that it can create a shallow depth of field effect, and it can easily blur the background even if it is far away from the subject.

Another advantage of large aperture is that it can provide higher shutter speed, and it is not easy to shake when the light is dark. In the case of strong light, a clear snapshot can be achieved at a higher shutter speed. Because it is equivalent to a long focal length of 137mm, it is also suitable for shooting sports.

90mm is a medium-long focal length segment, which can keep a good shooting distance with pedestrians even if sweeping the street. However, because the focal length is long enough, the feeling of sweeping the street will be relatively gentle and more compressed compared with the 28mm, 35mm and 90mm focal lengths that ordinary people like, and it is another feeling to shoot.

As mentioned above, the XF90 lens adopts a newly developed quadruple linear motor, and it rarely encounters bellows pulling in actual shooting. The focusing speed is much faster than the previous Fuji lens, and the success rate of capturing is higher.

Fuji's proud color and resolution advantages are also well reflected in XF90. The original film hardly needs adjustment, and the contrast is just right. Even after zooming in, the details are still clear.

XF90 lens enriches the X series lens group to a great extent, and has a longer focal length while maintaining the large aperture of F2.0, which can form a good complement with the previous XF56 F 1.2 lens, and focus faster and have better image quality than the zoom long lens. In addition, XF90 has stronger close-up ability and outdoor waterproof and dustproof effect, and the lens barrel is sealed at seven places, so even ordinary dripping water is not enough to damage the lens, which is more suitable for photographers with outdoor themes.
